What are the effects of the flower of the wolf

Many difficult and complicated diseases that cannot be treated by Western medicine can actually be treated with Chinese medicine, such as serious diseases such as rheumatism. Although Chinese medicine cannot quickly treat the disease, long-term use of Chinese medicine for conditioning can relieve the adverse symptoms caused by the disease and reduce the damage caused by the disease. Herba Lycopodii is a relatively effective medicine for treating rheumatism, so what is the effect of Herba Lycopodii?

1. Analgesic effect

Various preparations of Rhizoma Lucidum have analgesic effects, and the analgesic index is similar to that of opium. The suspension has the strongest effect, followed by the extract and tincture. The analgesic effect weakens with the increase of the dose of wolfsbane. Wolfberry has a strong anesthetic effect.

2. Effects on the cardiovascular system

Intravenous injection of balanthera can slow the heart rate in anesthetized dogs, and large doses can cause heart rhythm disorders. Intravenous injection of alcohol extract of Rhizoma Corydalis can counteract BaCl2-induced arrhythmias in rats, but is ineffective against CaCl2-induced ventricular fibrillation in mice. Intravenous injection of a small dose of ramie alcohol extract has no effect on blood pressure, but the same dose injected into the lateral ventricle has a hypotensive effect, which can be completely antagonized by yohimbine injected into the lateral ventricle, and prazosin also has a significant antagonistic effect on this.

3. Other functions

In vitro animal experiments have shown that ocaribin has the effect of contracting bronchial smooth muscle, which can be antagonized by diphenhydramine and phentolamine. The decoction of Rhizoma Alternariae has a strong antibacterial effect against Staphylococcus aureus, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Bacillus anthracis and Streptococcus B in vitro.

4. Toxicity

The herb is highly toxic to insects, both in contact and ingestion, and can cause lepidopteran larvae and stink bugs to vomit and become rapidly paralyzed. Its active ingredients are eriophorin I and eriophorin. The LD50 of the extract and tincture of Herba Lysimachiae by oral administration to mice was 5.85g/kg and 5.13g/kg respectively. The LD50 of veratrum toxin in mice after intraperitoneal injection is 1.5 mg/kg, subcutaneous injection is 4.36 mg/kg, and oral administration is 5.1 mg/kg. The concentrated juice of fresh flowers mixed with wine and taken orally can paralyze people and make them lose consciousness; if made into smoke and inhaled by animals, it can cause central nervous system paralysis, respiratory center failure and death.

Rheumatic patients can use wolfsbane for treatment after experiencing symptoms of pain in the affected area. Only the correct use of Wolfsbane can achieve good therapeutic effects on the treatment of the disease. It is best to take it under the guidance of a doctor, so that the dosage of Wolfsbane can be thoroughly mastered and better help patients relieve their symptoms.
