[Original form] 1. The shell of the cone snail is pointed and conical, hard in texture, and generally 108-132mm high, with a width of about 1/5 of the height. There are 20-23 whorls, and the height and width of each layer increase evenly. The shell surface is slightly convex, the suture line is deep and grooved, the shell tip is thin, and the spiral part is very high, about 5 times the body whorl. There are 5-7 spiral ribs on the surface of each whorl. There are also fine ribs between the ribs, and there are 9 spiral ribs on the body whorl. Shell surface yellowish brown or purple brown. The growth lines are obvious, sometimes forming folds. The shell mouth is nearly circular, and the inner surface of the shell has grooves corresponding to the spiral ribs on the shell surface. The outer lip is thin and easily damaged, while the inner lip is relatively hard. The operculum is horny, round and textured, round and thin, easily broken, and millet-colored. The nucleus is located in the center.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: 1. Lives on the muddy or soft muddy seabed near the low tide line of the intertidal zone to 40m deep in the subtidal zone.
