1. Gynostemma pentaphyllum and Polygonum multiflorum drink: Gynostemma pentaphyllum 10g, Polygonum multiflorum 15g, Ophiopogon japonicus 12g. Decoction or soak in boiling water.

This prescription uses Gynostemma pentaphyllum to nourish Qi and soothe the mind, Polygonum multiflorum to nourish the heart and soothe the mind, and Ophiopogon japonicus to nourish Yin and clear the heart. 2. Gynostemma pentaphyllum and Eucommia ulmoides tea: 15g Gynostemma pentaphyllum, 10g Eucommia ulmoides leaves. Soak in boiling water and drink.

This prescription uses both of them to lower blood pressure, and Gynostemma pentaphyllum can also clear away heat and calm the nerves. Used for hypertension, dizziness, headache, restlessness, insomnia and irritability.

3. Gynostemma pentaphyllum and Lysimachia chinensis drink: 15g Gynostemma pentaphyllum and 50g Lysimachia chinensis. Add appropriate amount of brown sugar and boil it in water to drink.

This prescription uses Gynostemma pentaphyllum to clear away heat and detoxify, while Centella asiatica clears heat, removes dampness and reduces jaundice. Used for viral hepatitis, with symptoms of damp-heat and jaundice, and yellow and red urine and scanty urine.
