【Functions and indications】Replenish deficiency, strengthen the spleen and stomach. It is used to treat weakness, diarrhea, dysentery, thirst, frequent urination, and malnutrition in children.

[Usage and Dosage] For oral administration: Cook or make into pills.

[Additional prescription] ① For treating men with thin muscles and weak breath, and cough gradually developing into tuberculosis: 4 liang each of Atractylodes macrocephala and Oyster (burned), and 3 liang of Sophora flavescens. Grind it into fine powder, use a pig's stomach, cook it and grind it into a paste, then make it into pills as big as walnuts. Take 30 to 40 pills each time, with rice water, three to four times a day. (Pork Tripe Balls from Imperial Pharmacy)

When the blood vessels are not functioning well, they are all taken to nourish the spleen and stomach, so that the essence and blood will be generated naturally, and the deficiency and fatigue will heal naturally. Only when the foundation is strengthened can the five internal organs be at peace."
