[Source] It is the whole herb of the Lamiaceae plant Cunxia . Harvest in autumn, wash and dry.

[Original form] Perennial herb, about 33 cm high. The roots are clustered and about 10 to 12 cm long. The stems are clustered, obliquely or nearly erect, square, and densely covered with white wool. Simple leaves are opposite; ovate to triangular-broad ovate, 8-14 mm long, 6-12 mm wide, short-pointed at the apex, obtuse or nearly truncate at the base, with blunt teeth on the margin; wrinkled on the upper side, covered with long white cotton hairs on both sides, especially on the lower side; petiole 3.3 mm long. The whorl inflorescence is borne on the upper part of the stem; there is a pair of ovate bracts under the inflorescence, with dozens of flowers in each whorl; the flowers are sessile, with a narrow linear bract at the base, about 7 mm long, and covered with hairs; the corolla is 2-lipped, light reddish purple, with a straight corolla tube, the upper lip erect, and the lower lip expanded, far beyond the calyx. The nutlets are smooth. Flowering period is summer.

[Habitat distribution] Growing in wasteland and roadsides. Distributed in Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou and other places.
